Throughout the year we welcome groups of visitors to Waterman's Farm. From preschoolers and daycares to convention visitors, Waterman's Farm is always able to accomodate large groups. Please complete the preceding form and your information will be entered into our online scheduling system.

What Waterman's Farm Considers a "Group"
Three or more individuals who are members of an organization, such as a school, day care center, Scout troop, church group, etc. The critical point is that ONE PERSON PAYS FOR THE WHOLE GROUP. If more than one person pays, you will be charged individually and will not receive the group rate.
The group visit is not an option on weekends because of difficulty that we have with logistics. Our hayrides on the weekends take everyone to the big pumpkin patch rather than the patch where the small pumpkins grow; we are unable to accommodate our customers with a trip to and from the small pumpkin patch. The charge for an October group visit to our farm is $3 per child. Included for this price are:
- A hayride to the pumpkin patch where child selects one small pumpkin to take home.
- Narration while on the hayride which includes information about our farm, its history, our role in food production and information about how pumpkins grow
- Enjoying Tyranny, our pumpkin-eating dinosaur, who roars as she chomps on a pumpkin and explains the nutritional value of pumpkins
- Opportunity to climb on our giant straw pile
- Chance to crawl through our strawbale maze which is dark and has deadends in it.
- Chance to walk through any or all of our 2 cornfield mazes
- The first maze involves making decisions about whether to go to the left or right or forward or backward
- The second maze involves the same decision-making but it is longer and more complicated than the first one
- Opportunity to ride the tricycles on our tricycle trail
- A visit with the farm animals
Available at additional charge:
- Lunch for $3.50 per child. Includes chicken nuggets, carrot sticks, apple and juice box. Must be scheduled in advance.
- Pony rides for $2 per child
- Make a scarecrow to take with you for $10 if the group designs the head from materials that we supply or $15 or $20 if the group selects an artist-created head. All materials for the scarecrow are supplied.
There is no charge for the adults who accompany the children on a group visit as we value their superivison of the children. Pumpkins may be purchased by the accompanying adults at the same price as other customers pay.
